Please familiarise yourself with our return policy and the conditions of your purchase prior to ordering.
By purchasing from Lykaysha Boutique, you are agreeing to and accept the terms and conditions of your purchase.
Our returns policy is in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.
Please read our returns policy before making a purchase.
Online purchases
Please contact Lykaysha Boutique before placing an order as some items on our website are not in stock and are made to order and have varying delivery timeframes.
If you do not love an item you have purchased from our online store, you are able to return your item for store credit or exchange the item, if your item meets our return conditions. Please see our online conditions for return section below. If you believe your order to be faulty, please refer to our faulty item section and contact customer service. Store credit is valid for 3 years.
Our inventory changes rapidly, please call or email customer service for item availability and estimated delivery time before placing an order. All gowns are available to pre order if not in stock. Please allow 4-18 weeks order time for items not in stock. By placing an order, you are agreeing to the ordering timeframe. It is the customers responsibility to contact customer service to obtain an accurate SOH or order timeframe. By making a purchase you are agreeing to the expected delivery timeframe and no refunds are available for items needing to be ordered, once the purchase is placed.
Please ensure you contact customer service to enquire on delivery timeframe before ordering, if you have a deadline.
PRE ORDER TERMS
Sizes marked as Pre Order mean they are not in stock but can be ordered upon request. If the dress is in stock in the suppliers warehouse, there may be a 2-4 week delivery timeframe. However, if the dress is not in stock in the suppliers warehouse the supplier will manufacture the product. This requires a 12-18 week timeframe to be made.

SPECIAL ORDER GOWNS
NB Many of our Special order gowns are international and are tagged with US sizes. Use the size chart as a guide only. If you require further help please contact us for assistance with sizing or view our how to measure section.
Our special order gowns ordered online follow the same online returns policy. Please see our online conditions for returns below.
Bridesmaid orders
Bridesmaid dresses are made to order and are only available by contacting customer service. We do not take online orders for bulk bridesmaid orders. Please note colours can vary by 5%. Contact customer service before placing any bridesmaid orders to ensure all gowns are coming from the same dye lot and to confirm sizes and an estimated delivery time.
In store purchases
The online ‘change of mind’ returns policy does NOT apply to in store purchases. Under the Australian consumer law policy we are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind or for a change of circumstances. However, if an item is faulty please refer to our faulty items section.
We proudly offer the services of a store register, which allows you to register the gown you have purchased from us, for the event you are attending. We strongly recommend you use your event coordinator to also register your gown. This register is a courtesy protocol only and we take no responsibility for misuse or error and our standard returns policy applies.
Online conditions for return
Returned or Exchanged items must be in 'brand new' and 'sellable' condition. If your item incurs damages whilst in your possession in the form or pulls, dirty marks, perfume scents, or adjustments, we cannot accept a return or exchange.
To be eligible for a return
- Item must be in original condition
- Item must be in unmodified/standard condition
- All tags and hanging ribbon must be in place
- Item must not have been worn
- Item must not have been washed or altered
- Item must not be marked with make up, dirt, or spray tan.
You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you must contact us at info@lykayshaboutique.com within 48 hours of receiving your garment. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Please note, shipping charges for any returned item is the responsibility of the consumer, unless the product is confirmed to be faulty.
Returned Items MUST have a tracking number and be received within 14 days from the date the garment was received by you. Garments that are not received within the 2 week timeframe will not be accepted for return.
If accepted, Lykaysha Boutique will issue you a store credit for the purchase price of the item or alternatively you can request to exchange the item.
Please note, shipping charges for any returned item is the responsibility of the consumer, unless the product is confirmed to be faulty. We will not assume any liability for the reimbursement or compensation in the event that packages are mishandled, lost or stollen. Additional postage insurance can be arranged by contacting customer service and is charged at the Aust post rate.
To avoid marking or damaging your dress when trying, please follow our careful try-on guide:
- Unpack your item with clean hands
- Remove all jewellery that could catch or snag the fabric
- Wash your face and shower prior to trying
- Take your time putting on your dress and choose a time that allows you to carefully try and assess your dress
- Try your dress in a clean environment, ideally on vacuumed carpet
- DO NOT unpack your dress with dirty hands
- DO NOT try your dress on with a full face of make up
- DO NOT try your dress on with fresh/unwashed fake tan
- DO NOT try your dress on in a rush
- DO NOT try your dress on excessively
- DO NOT try your dress on in a dirty environment or walk around your home
In order for Lykaysha Boutique to offer you the ability to return, it is important that you understand the importance of returning your item in 100% brand new and sellable condition.
Items returned with marks, damaged fabric, pulls or snags in the fabric, or showing signs of being worn will not be accepted
Exceptions / non-returnable items
*Custom made and or made to order coloured items.
- In store orders. Once orders are paid for in our retail store, we are unable to offer you a refund/exchange for a change of mind. If an order is cancelled the deposit will be forfeited.
- Gowns must be paid in full within 10 days of arrival notification.
- Gowns must be collected within 7 days of full payment.
- Storage can be arranged and fees apply at $1 per day.
*Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on gift cards.
* Dresses with modifications.
Once Lykaysha Boutique has received the returned garment it will undergo thorough inspection. If accepted for exchange, Lykaysha Boutique will send you store credit. The credit will be valued at the cost of the purchased goods, minus postage. Please ensure you use the same email address on your new order to redeem your credit.
If you opt for the parcel to be ‘returned to sender’ a fee of $25.00 will be deducted from your store credit to cover the cost of the return.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately at info@lykayshaboutique.com within 48 hours of product arrival and attach clear photos of claimed faults, if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Faulty items.
- In the event of an unexpected fault, once returned within the timeframe, we will inspect the garment and if the fault is accepted as a manufacturing fault we will ask you to choose a replacement, refund or 110% store credit. If the fault is not a manufacturing fault the credit, refund or replacement will not be honoured.
Depending on the claim, any faults caused during the course of wearing the item/s may be void, as all seams & construction elements are checked/ tested.
